Those fins can get clogged. ![]() Have you made sure your laptop's fan is set to Active instead of passive? http //increase-fan-speed-laptop-55841.html Unfortunately popular utilities such as Speedfan don't work with most laptops. ![]() But the problem is, I don't know how to do that. I was definitely quite scared when I saw that temperature so I thought maybe adjusting the fan curve can solve the problem. Any help/tips My only option is to use Dell Power Management and setting the Thermal Settings to 'Quiet' from its default 'Optimized' setting, which makes the fans super quiet with the downside being that performance is hit. So I was running a CPU stress test using AIDA64, and I realized there is some thermal throttling (max at 18%) when temperatures reach around 95C. ![]()
